TOKOYO, JAPAN. June 26th, 2026 – TAITO CORPORATION (also known as “TAITO”) is set to exhibit at Anime Expo 2026, one of North America’s largest celebrations of Japanese pop culture, next month.
The event will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 2–5, 2026.
Under this year’s theme, “TAITO PLAY BASE,” TAITO will present an immersive booth experience where visitors can explore a diverse range of the company’s games, collectibles and interactive attractions in one location.
A major highlight of the booth will be the opportunity to play BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons Boosted ahead of its official release on August 20, 2026. Attendees will be among the first to experience the upcoming title through an exclusive demo.
Fans of the iconic franchise will also be able to enjoy a special BUBBLE BOBBLE merchandise exhibition featuring a collection of rare and historical items from the series. Many of the displayed pieces are rarely shown publicly, offering a unique glimpse into the franchise’s history.
Visitors will also have the chance to meet Bub, the beloved mascot character, during the “Meet & Greet with Bub” attraction. Bub will appear at the booth wearing a special in-game costume, providing fans with a rare photo opportunity. Appearance times will be displayed at the TAITO booth during the event.
Visitors can also enjoy a free hands-on experience with TAITO’s arcade game Getter Spin D. Attendees who participate in the game will receive an exclusive event-only novelty item available only at the venue, while stock lasts.
TAITO is set to showcase a selection of premium figures that they have developed at the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the finely crafted figures up close, while a range of DRESSTA figures will be available for pre-order during the exhibition.
Gaming fans will also get the opportunity to revisit TAITO’s nostalgic classic titles, including SPACE INVADERS and BUBBLE BOBBLE, on MY ARCADE.
To further enhance the visitor experience, the booth will feature a stamp rally. Guests who collect all four stamps located throughout the exhibit will be eligible to participate in a lucky wheel prize draw for the chance to win exclusive prizes. Prize availability is limited and subject to stock.
