LONDON, UK. October 16th, 2026 – Daye and Sapyen today announced an exclusive partnership that brings male fertility and vaginal health testing into their respective services, so that customers, telehealth partners and clinics can order both tests from either company.
The launches mark a pivotal expansion for both businesses: Daye, whose products and services have centred on female reproductive health, will introduce Sapyen’s at-home semen analysis; Sapyen will extend its offering into vaginal microbiome testing through Daye. Each company becomes the other’s exclusive partner in the relevant test category across consumer, telehealth and clinic channels.
From November, Daye customers can order Sapyen’s Advanced Home Semen Analysis Test Kit at yourdaye.com for £149, and Sapyen customers can order Daye’s Vaginal Microbiome Screen at sapyen.co for £99. A combined couples’ bundle is available for £499. Both tests are completed at home, and samples are analysed by UKAS-accredited / CQC-registered laboratories.
The scale of the need is substantial. The World Health Organization estimates that approximately one in six people experience infertility during their lifetime, while male factors contribute, wholly or partly, to infertility in approximately half of affected couples. These figures make male assessment central to understanding a couple’s fertility, reflected in clinical guidelines recommending concurrent evaluation of both partners.
For Daye’s customers, access to semen analysis therefore adds an established investigation with direct relevance to the decisions they may be making about conception. Measuring sperm concentration, motility and morphology can identify findings that warrant specialist assessment and help inform subsequent care.
Sapyen’s introduction of vaginal microbiome testing addresses a different dimension of reproductive health. Lactobacillus bacteria help maintain the vagina’s protective acidic environment; changes in their abundance, alongside the presence of other microorganisms, can indicate microbial imbalance. Daye’s test examines this community, providing information about vaginal health that semen analysis cannot supply.
Research is establishing the scale of that imbalance and examining its reproductive significance. A 2024 meta-analysis of 25 studies involving 6,835 IVF patients estimated the prevalence of vaginal dysbiosis at 19%. Dysbiosis was associated with a 49% higher relative risk of early pregnancy loss and an 18% lower relative probability of clinical pregnancy.
The partnership makes these distinct investigations more accessible while preserving their different clinical roles: semen analysis as an established component of fertility evaluation, and vaginal microbiome testing as an assessment of vaginal health within an evolving field of reproductive research.
“Fertility is a consequential area in which to make decisions with incomplete information. Time matters, treatment is expensive, and the findings from one partner cannot establish what is happening in the other,” said Ashwin Ramachandran, Founder and CEO of Sapyen. “We have built Sapyen around removing the practical barriers to laboratory semen analysis. This partnership extends that work by bringing together two specialist capabilities and making them available through both companies’ existing services. Our conviction is that access to relevant diagnostics should precede consequential decisions about care. That is the infrastructure we intend to build together with Daye.”
For Daye, the move establishes male fertility testing within a service historically focused on women. For Sapyen, it creates a route into female reproductive health through an established specialist, with both companies extending distribution through their consumer audiences and clinical relationships.
“Fertility investigations too often start, and stop, with the woman, even though male factors play a part in around half of cases,” said Valentina Milanova, Founder and CEO of Daye. “With Sapyen, couples can look at both sides of the picture at the same time, from home. Sapyen brings specialist expertise in semen analysis, and our vaginal microbiome testing adds a capability to theirs. Each company keeps its specialism, and both services become easier to reach.”
The partnership reflects a broader ambition for both companies: to build reproductive health services around the questions patients need answered, bringing specialist male and female testing within easier reach.
