Data Analytics-Driven Sports Agency Is Next Generation Soccer Industry Changemaker
-3 Kingdoms Group pioneering Premier League contract negotiations backed by data analytics-

LONDON  (May 10, 2021) — 3 Kingdoms Group, founded by preeminent US Record Promoter, Singer and Songwriter James Worthy (3x Grammy nominated, collaborations with Whitney Houston, Fetty Wap, Bobby Brown, T-Pain and many more) and ‘best connected men in London’ technology & entertainment entrepreneurs Steve Sharpe and Tansel Adacan (both recently seen on ITV1’s Million Pound Pawn) have engaged in a historic collaboration to form the 3 Kingdoms Group, enrolling Premier League & International soccer talent for intermediary representation with data insights-backed commercial negotiations.

The 3 Kingdoms team brings together expertise and experience from a broad range of backgrounds including Data Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics as well as Managers of global entertainment talent including major US hip hop and R&B stars.

The company prepares performance analysis reporting prior to negotiations, looking at a range of relevant metrics and discerning the player’s true market value by comparing that data to other similar players across comparable leagues. The agency also advises its players with one-to-one analytics consultancy so that they can pinpoint areas to incrementally improve their game, ultimately raising their market value.

“Soccer is an extremely data-rich game because of the number of actions each player makes. However, taking that data and interpreting it completely accurately, then democratising those findings to make them accessible beyond the understanding of statisticians and analysts, is where the value really comes into its own,” said Tansel Adacan, President of Data and Operations at 3 Kingdoms Group. “Once you really understand and distil down your data, you can start to cut through the emotional anchors and confirmation biases often present in human decision-making to the objective truth. With this approach, we help players to achieve stronger bargaining positions by either supporting or challenging any presuppositions or assumptions about the player within the commercial negotiation.”

Located in London, the 3 Kingdoms Group Sports Agency looks also to build its players off-the-field business and life skills, providing education for players in finance, legal and media. “Our players will finish their playing careers with a defined wealth and career plan beyond their playing days and receive individualised support and mentorship which can set them up for a wide range of second careers after soccer in performance, technology, entrepreneurship, all aspects of music, and sports business management,” said Chief Executive Steve Sharpe. “Our players will engage with the Board regularly, alongside visiting guest consultants and established former professionals, while participating in immersive education and mentorship programmes, ensuring they finish their soccer playing days with both hands-on experience and a network of professional contacts.”

“Our proximity and heritage in and around the global technology, music and entertainment industries positions us to offer unparalleled experiential off-the-field learning, and our data and analytics expertise strengthens our players’ bargaining position in the negotiation room in a way that’s fit for the modern era of the game.” said President of International Sports, 3x Grammy nominee James Worthy. “We are proud to be pioneering an unprecedented commercial resource for the modern generation of soccer players.”
