DTG developed a 3D configurator with rules-driven pricing seamlessly integrated into The Cabinet Shop’s Shopify storefront. Historically, The Cabinet Shop’s design team created custom drawings for nearly every request, consuming significant time. By automating standard configurations, the configurator frees designers to focus on complex and bespoke projects, dramatically shortening the sales cycle.
Each configuration automatically generates precise production specifications. This eliminates costly errors and miscommunications, ensuring that the delivered products align perfectly with customer expectations. A rules-driven validation layer safeguards against incompatible combinations and input mistakes.
Beyond cupboards, The Cabinet Shop plans to expand into new furniture families such as media units, dressers, and bookcases. DTG’s modular platform—featuring a master renderer and flexible rules engine—allows effortless expansion without extensive redevelopment.

Instead of relying on a single entry point for customization, the system dynamically creates multiple pre-configured product pages. Each page targets specific search intents, enhancing visibility and driving qualified traffic from diverse customer segments.
