NSW, Australia. August 26th 2025 - Forever Network has secured a Tobique Digital Gaming License, marking the regulatory approval required to launch its new sports betting platform, ForeverBet, in more than 25 international markets.
The licence, issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission, confirms ForeverBet meets the Commission’s standards for fairness, security, and responsible gaming. It clears the way for Forever Network to enter multiple regulated markets, with an emphasis on regions including South East Asia where the company has a large, active fan base.
ForeverBet is the company’s first direct move into the betting sector. Built in partnership with iGaming technology provider Totem, the platform will combine a traditional sportsbook with culturally relevant betting markets, integrated social features, and casino content from more than 150 studios worldwide.
“This is a milestone for us in more ways than one,” said Forever Network chief executive Alex Sumsky. “It’s the first time we’ve announced ForeverBet publicly, and I’ve been passionate about building a product that serves our entire audience, not just the US. This licence means we can engage fans from more than 25 major countries in our audience base, particularly in South East Asia, where the passion for sport is unmatched.”
Forever Network, best known for its brands such as Basketball Forever, Football Forever, and Hockey Forever, reaches more than 400 million fans globally each year. The launch of ForeverBet represents a shift from pure media into a combined content and wagering offering, something Sumsky says will be built with the same community-first approach that has defined the company’s growth.
Totem, founded by the team behind the award-winning esports betting brand Unikrn, brings the technology backbone to ForeverBet. Its platform has been designed to handle high-volume live betting, ship new features quickly, and maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Totem chief executive Karl Flores said the licence reflects months of preparation. “ForeverBet has been built to meet stringent regulatory requirements from the outset,” Flores said. “With the Tobique licence secured, we’re ready to introduce a sportsbook that aligns with the way modern fans experience sport.”
ForeverBet will open for registration ahead of its planned launch in September. Further product details, including its approach to social betting and culturally driven markets, will be released in the coming weeks.
