As a dedicated member of HITEC, he has played a pivotal role in mentoring and empowering the next generation of Hispanic technology leaders. His efforts have not only elevated the visibility of Hispanic professionals in the industry but have also fostered a more inclusive and equitable tech ecosystem.

He most recently served as the Chief Digital Officer at ThoughtWorks, where he led the global Digital Transformation Practice. Prior to joining ThoughtWorks, Marcelo held key leadership positions as Chief Information and Digital Officer at Fortune 500 companies such as Kraft Foods Group, Mondelēz International, and Pirelli. 

De Santis’ achievements extend beyond his professional accomplishments. He is a champion for social responsibility, actively engaging in initiatives that support underrepresented communities and promote educational opportunities in technology. His commitment to making a positive difference is evident in every aspect of his work.
