Los Angeles, US. August 28th 2025 - On Monday, August 25, 2025, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) Los Angeles and the Andean Parliament Peru held a joint event that brought together youth and leaders under the banner of *Juventud por la Diplomacia y la Paz*. The day featured both a Peace Forum and a Peace Walk, marking a milestone in the region’s commitment to cultivating peace and strengthening youth engagement in international cooperation.
The event highlighted the essential role of youth in shaping a culture of peace and diplomacy across Latin America. Delegates from the Andean Parliament and representatives of HWPL emphasized the importance of collaboration, dialogue, and solidarity in addressing global challenges. Andean Parliament Fernando Arce stated, “Walking together for a world reconciled with love and, above all, fighting for the new generations so that we can sow peace.’”
A Peace Forum was held to discuss the vital role of youth, education, and peace in shaping the future. During the forum, participants expressed their support for peace by signing in endorsement of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) and by pledging to collaborate with HWPL on peace education initiatives across the region.
Following the forum, a peace walk took place and served as a symbolic expression of solidarity and the shared commitment to building a culture of harmony in the region.
Both HWPL and the Andean Parliament reaffirmed their joint commitment to continue opportunities for young leaders to engage in diplomacy, dialogue, and education as pathways toward sustainable peace.
This initiative builds upon the growing partnership between HWPL and regional parliamentary bodies, demonstrating how cooperation between civil society and legislative institutions can inspire a new generation to lead with peace at the forefront. The organizations look toward a continually strengthening relationship fueled by a share desire for establishing a peaceful region and world.
