Global Promotion Crowdfunding Campaign has Achieved Its Goal within One Day.
Tokyo, Japan. January 30th, 2026 – Polyscape Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroki Shimada), with its mission of Accelerating the Future, announces the Early Access launch for the casual multiplayer RTS game NAMAKORIUM, featuring the sea cucumbers called Namako who act as ocean cleaners and become the playable character.
The game is available on Steam as of January 30, 2026. To celebrate the Early Access release, the game is sold at a two-week limited discount for 10.39 USD; instead of the usual 12.99 USD.
At the same time, a release trailer for NAMAKORIUM has been revealed. It includes introductions to new skills and items such as Namako Bombs, Blight Namako and Namako Fusion Cannon along with brand new footage from the game.
Additionally, NAMAKORIUM crowdfunding campaign that aimed to promote the game globally was launched on January 9, 2026. The campaign achieved and surpassed its funding goal in just one day, confirming high global demand for NAMAKORIUM. The crowdfunding campaign is set to continue until February 28, 2026 and will be expanded on with new rewards and new stretch goals.

New Stages, New Gimmicks and Matchmaking Function to Play with Random Players
This Early Access version includes additional stages and new gimmicks not present in the previous demo version. Specifically, it offers 8 stages with varying difficulty levels, the appearance of Flame Namako and Ice Namako, and the highly dangerous Namako Bomb, the Namako Cannon that allows the player to move freely throughout the stage. Additionally, players can find the pollution-spreading Blight Namako, the powerful Namako Fusion Cannon that repels Blight Namako and many other features. A new match-making function that allows random players to join the session has also been added.

About the Full Release
After the release of the demo version on October 14, 2025, the company has received a lot of feedback via live streams and social media platforms. Players enjoyed the “cuteness of the Namakos” while enjoying a game that “despite its cute appearance, challenged them with strategy and teamwork”. Some users called it “The pinnacle of multitasking”. Numerous suggestions for improvements, new features, and play modes have also been made, alongside requests for porting the game onto other platforms and hopes for specific features not originally included in the development plan. Polyscape will address the feedback during the development of the full version of NAMAKORIUM.
The current roadmap will have solo mode added in February, and new gimmicks and stages in March. Further updates are also planned to be implemented based on player feedback.

In one not-so-distant future, environmental destruction, extreme weather, global warming, and other urgent issues facing the modern Earth due to human development, many species have vanished due to severe ocean pollution. While humanity itself has gone extinct, in the midst of that turbulent ocean, a creature awakens from its cold sleep – Namako – the ocean’s cleaner.
NAMAKORIUM is a chaotic cooperative multiplayer RTS game playable with up to four players. The player commands the Namako ocean cleaners, and gives the polluted ocean a major cleanup. Whether you can restore the beautiful ocean or not depends on the player, their companions and the Namakos’ setups in the game. The bustling ocean cleanup provides opportunity for strategic play and chaotic fun with friends.
