TOKYO, JAPAN. April 25th, 2026 – Yaneura Games Co., Ltd. has unveiled its new PC (Steam®) title In Us, for the first time to the world at INDIE Live Expo 2026.

In Us is a new co-op horror game in which players take on the role of exorcists who, alongside their teammates, must screen and exorcise demons disguised as humans lurking in a village. Players need to observe the behavior of passing villagers to determine whether they are human or demonic, offering a tense challenge where a single misjudgment can lead to a counterattack on one’s own team mates. Behind the horror elements, however, await slapstick-style gimmicks that will have party members laughing despite the fear.
The game incorporates three special features. Firstly, players investigate if characters are human or demonic. If a human is exorcised, players will be punished, however, if they let a demon escape they will have to face the consequences as well. Decisions need to be made on the fly, and communication and decision making with team mates is essential.
It’s a chaotic horror adventure with friends. Players can expect sudden panicked screaming one minute, and bursting into hysterical laughter the next, as they engage in the frenzied gameplay. Players can, of course, pick up the challenge solo, but the horror is sure to be even more intense.
Players are also encouraged to recruit as much help as possible and the challenge of great exorcism. Scopes, hymns, traps, and even an exorcist dog are at the players’ disposal to achieve their goal, and survive this demonic situation.
